Good price, especially lunch special... Food tastes stable and generally good. Highly recommend 1 person to small party, large group or wish to take time enjoy the atmosphere will not recommended

3.5 stars Good Luck Kitchen is a Cantonese restaurant with a small parking lot out front that is shared by the nearby businesses. I ordered to go. It can take a while during busy time, so call ahead if you are picking up. They have various barbecue meats. I came mainly to try the roast duck but it was average. The skin is not crispy and the duck is less oily, but that also means less flavor. I thought it was a bit bland. I also had the cuttlefish which was decent. Cuttlefish doesn't have much flavor to begin with. The fish with green beans was good and flavorful. It does have ground meat mixed it. Not worth going out of your way for unless you are nearby.

Food: Your typical run of the mill Cantonese family style. We ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork chops, the Egg Tofu with Mushrooms, Black Bean Oysters (these were fresh and HUGE) and the House Special Stir Fry. Sweet and Sour Pork chops were crispy, not too sour and very flavorful. Egg Tofu with Mushrooms in a clay pot was really good, had a nice brown sauce that went excellent with rice. The oysters we ordered were huge and came with a good helping of black bean sauce, oysters were super fresh, no fishy taste at all. The house special stir fry was tasty but not the best dish. 4/5 taste. Service: The service was your typical Chinese restaurant service. They changed our plates several times and was very attentive. Nothing more, nothing less, which I appreciate. 4/5 Ambiance: This is a family oriented restaurant for big groups and small families. Not a place to take your dates, but excellent place to take families. The restaurant was clean though. 3/5

The dwindling Canto options across the boroughs has been a sore spot for NYC's dining scene. That makes places like Good Luck Kitchen a worthy place to hold onto, not just as a patron but as a figure in a community that could most certainly use it. They've been a Flushing favorite amongst locals, and is one of the true Canto spots that are still left in the area. The Chinese name ("粤唯鮮") has a much deeper meaning than its current English name would suggest. It is more akin to sort of like, "only Cantonese delicacies" which feels pretty significant especially for anyone who knows Canto. Despite how casual and homey the place is, I'd say the name is quite fitting. Unlike many other restaurants in the neighborhood, GLK actually has some semblance of a dedicated parking with a few spots out front. The restaurant itself is small, but they've managed to cram a good number of people at any given time and is surprisingly group friendly. Bathrooms could be avoided and the interior is a bit worn but still has a homey vibe. On a food front, I'm happy. Their lobster longevity noodles (龍蝦伊麵) have that oily aftertaste to them and is a hearty dish for how premium it is. Shrimp with scrambled egg (蝦仁炒蛋) and salt and pepper tofu (椒鹽豆腐) are both good, while the classic staple shrimp with mayo (蜜汁合桃虾) is passable. Their house soup was excellent and their pan fried flounder (乾煎龍利) was one of the better ones I've had. I am also impressed with their range of roasted meats (燒味) on display and would love to dive in deeper into those the next time I'm back. Overall, I was happy with the service and extremely impressed with my visit. It is a place that I wish was in my neighborhood and I sincerely hope they continue to stick around Flushing for a very long time.

If you like authentic cantonese food you will most likely like this place! Don't let the small space fool you, they have one of the best canto foods on Northern Blvd. Their lunch special is so worth it! Big portions and it comes with soup, and not just the meh soup that they usually give, it's really authentic canto soup! The only downside of this restaurant is that the lot is small so parking is limited - you can find street parking though! Fyi: remember to bring cash for cash discount!!!

Authentic Cantonese, miss this style so much! You can taste the wok-hei in the stir fries dishes. The green beans and pea sprouts were also so delicious. Although located in a humble strip mall, don't let it fool you--it's a diamond in the rough. Friendly service. And there's parking too! Much easier than Chinatown or Flushing.
